Across error-capture fidelity, alerting latency, cost, and agent/API readiness, Sentry ranked first in overall weighted scoring: highest error-capture fidelity, first-try sourcemaps and session replay, and a clean official agent integration with sub-2% deviation against manual sampling, at a monthly cost within budget. Datadog offered the fastest alerting but at roughly four times our budget and with agent-integration documentation gaps. Highlight.io was the lowest cost but not yet production-ready, with source-map handling failures and slow, limited alerting.
